Meet Your Guide
Hello, I am Sylva, born and raised in Český Krumlov — moving away was never an option for me. I grew up in the 1970s and 80s, living in the suburbs of a neglected town. As a student I experienced the life‑changing events of the revolutionary 1990s, which swept me up into a sea of opportunities and left me partly lost. But there is always someone who comes to help: for me it was my English teacher and mentor, who introduced me to the town's history and helped me fall in love with its stories and with meeting people in the town. After so many years as a guide, I consider this place my life's work.
What I love most is finding the story behind the story — not just "this was built in 1590," but why, by whom, at what cost, and what it looked like the morning after the builders left. I'm fluent in English, and I also speak the language of good coffee and leisurely pacing.
Every tour I run is private. You won't be sharing your afternoon with thirty strangers — just you, your group, and the town, seen the way it deserves to be.
